A variety of evaluation processes will be used. These will be graded based on the point value of each assignment. There will also be participation points and journaling points factored into this grade.
Class Rules and Policies:
Students must bring a notebook, folder, and pen/pencil with them to each class that they are enrolled in. It is their responsibility to bring these items with them daily. No exceptions. I will send out progress reports periodically for your signature. The students must sign the district’s User Agreement in order to use the computers. If you and your student do not sign this, your student will not be allowed to use the computers. CELL Phones cannot be on or out in class. This violation will result in an immediate write up. Failure to work on assignments in class will result in a write up. Students cannot access the internet unless the teacher has instructed them otherwise. There can be no music or video streaming as well. Violations of these policies can result in the student losing all privileges and they will not be allowed to use the computer. This means they will be given written assignments. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at the high school. It is important that your student attend as we do of the work in class. Computer skills are very crucial in today’s society and I hope that your student will be better prepared after this year. Thank you,
Mrs. Coffman
